The Regional Director Agroseguro, Jesus Lopez Vaquero, visited yesterday afternoon in different areas of the municipality of Totana to crops and infrastructure affected by the storms and flooding last September 28.
The President of the Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Lower Guadalentín (COAG), Isidoro Cayuela, along with other regional head of COAG and several technicians, accompanied the Agroseguro responsible during his visit to different crops of broccoli, artichoke, lettuce, grapes, pepper and damage to roads and irrigation infrastructure, which could state that needs to be repaired urgently, to continue with the work culture and even to enter the same farms.
The regional chief of Agroseguro field could verify the extensive damage that occurred in different areas, both in culture and in infrastructure, having said that many of the infrastructure damage not covered by agricultural insurance.
As reported in the coming days visit Agroseguro technicians insured crops and evaluate the damages that are compensable, leaving the consortium and other possible arrangements that could leave the state level, coverage and compensation for damage not covered by insurance agriculture.
