The tournament is held in the first phase Swiss system similar to that used in chess where players will face in rounds that will have the same number of wins.

In the category Children Andrew David Ros after playing 7 rounds in its class with 4 wins and 3 losses and good coefficient of games so it came to the final table in 9th place.
It fell in the main draw in the first round in a tight 3-2.
In the Youth category Julian Mendez was very irregular alternating good games with others with less success being the end with 4 wins and 5 losses in nine rounds in its class so it was not the main draw.
At senior Santiago Aledo finally managed 5 wins and 4 losses but with a negative balance games which eventually made him the post 35 and be out of the picture.
Meanwhile Julian Ceron pleasantly surprised to get the same score of 5-4 but with better coefficient games which made him reach # 30 and enter the final table in this category was made up of 32 players.
Since the box was eliminated in first round by one of the semifinalists.
In the category of veterans Domingo Mendez managed to get another year in the semifinals.
In the 1st phase ended with 5 wins and 2 losses occupying the 4th place.
In the final phase that formed the top 16 ranked spent the 1st and 2nd rounds and semi-final and give in to Wahab Ahmed which ultimately became champion and made doublet also at senior level.
