Users of the Day Centre for people with disabilities "José Moya," under the program using community resources, have visited the center reading "Jose Maria Munuera and Abbey" in order to meet socio-cultural resources of the environment and encourage the use of the municipal library.
This activity has been structured so that students could learn the different uses of the library and use its facilities.
To this end, made several trips to the library in small groups.
Students had the opportunity to get the library card and borrow books, CDs or DVDs.
Users then enjoyed some time to read and peruse the books that most interested him.
In memory of the visits, students flattered the center with a pen made for themselves in the art workshop of the day center.
This activity, according to the day center, is considered very favorable for its integration and standardization of services and resources.
Also, is framed within the educational programming that the day center for people with intellectual disabilities, under the Department of Social Services, has developed in our municipality.
Totana City Council signed earlier this year, a maintenance agreement with the central region and under it, and the contribution of users, the center is funded almost entirely within the framework of the System Care Autonomy and Dependency.
