The Department of Social Services, Citizen Participation and Neighborhood Collective Totana City Council held on 11 May a workshop on values ​​education among students of the Hall Occupational Municipal Service Truancy Prevention and Control of the Department of Education.
With this pedagogical intervention seeks to educate young people for tolerance, within the framework of democratic citizenship and positively evaluate the difference and diversity.
During the workshop, audiovisual resources held by an active dynamic that allowed young people to reflect on the problems a person may have because of skin color, race to which he belongs or the way she expressed.
These awareness-raising activities are among the objectives of the Second Municipal Plan for the Integration of Immigrants and Intercultural Coexistence Totana 2011-2015 and are sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security through the Directorate of Integration of Immigrants and the European Integration Fund under the Municipal Project: Promotion of Access to socio-community resources for social participation and civic life.
