Councilman Public Safety assists the Commission on Security and Coexistence of the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (10/05/2012)

Councilman Safety, Francisco Hernandez, attended the last meeting of the Commission on Security and Coexistence of the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP)-to replace Totana Mayor is a member of the same-in he made a raft of proposals forwarded by the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

The Director General of Police pointed out that in the last 10 years have been trained in the Training Centre and 800 local police added that the capacity of the school to provide training would "very intensive" to all the local police in Spain.

The meeting took the opportunity to exchange ideas regarding the intention of the Ministry of the Interior to create a new Law on Local Police throughout this term.

It also took stock of how it is working collaboration between the National Police and local police, whose collaboration has resulted in 74 agreements of cooperation in public security, 51 protocols and 49 data exchange agreements for the protection victims of gender violence, in the case of the National Police.

Totanero The mayor, on behalf of municipalities in Murcia, urged the opening of training centers of the Security Forces of the State to local police for specific training in the same judicial police and subsequent access to Center for Judicial Studies.

It is also proposed to develop joint enforcement intervention protocols of the Local Police and Security Forces of the State, especially in rural municipalities, which are even more necessary these policy approaches and joint enforcement intervention.
