The talk called, "Teaching to study, teach to learn", by two professors of Occupational Classroom IES Juan de la Cierva and framed at the Municipal School of Parents, was well received by attendees.
During the session, which was attended by over seventy people, addressed issues related to the organization of school work, time and place most suitable for the study, how to revise the duties of our children, the importance of extracurricular activities proper use of computerized systems, how to instill respect for the professor, how to conduct a weekly family meeting and work-study techniques can be put into practice at home.
The speakers explained the importance of properly using positive reinforcement in small, praising when they are fulfilling their responsibilities and stressing that the mistakes in schoolwork should not be penalized.
They also stressed the importance and need for education to be necessary to secure a future and a society with values, respect and prepared.
