The Mayor of Totana and president of the Foundation La Santa, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, and the pastor of the Church of Santiago and vice president of the Foundation La Santa, Jose Ruiz Garcia, presented the poster of the program of religious events of the holidays Santa Eulalia 2011.
This year these religious are characterized on the one hand, for his work in solidarity to make calls to groups, neighbors and associates to contribute food to help those most in need, and secondly, when you participate in these events neighborhood associations, groups, institutions, brotherhoods and confraternities of the Holy Week, among others.
The mayor has encouraged residents to participate in the religious activities scheduled by the Foundation's Santa, especially encouraging young people to participate in events such as followers of the great fervor that is felt in the municipality of Santa Eulalia her employer.
In this sense, also explained that the Consistory is betting heavily to achieve a nationally broadcast both parties deeply rooted in the locality, as well as Holy Week.

The program of religious events will begin on December 8 with Mass at 8:00 pm in the sanctuary and the further transfer of the image in pilgrimage to the city, and the subsequent reception of Santa Eulalia in the place "The Rulo" for his people and authorities before transfer to the hermitage of San Roque, as tradition.
Moreover, on December 9 will be held from noon Mass in the chapel of San Roque.

At night, at 12:00, will be the serenade to the patron for his holiday, which this year will star in the groups of "The Elves" and "Milk."
The program continues on December 10, the feast of Santa Eulalia, with the Eucharistic celebration in the church of Santiago, at 12:00 hours, to be chaired by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Don.

In the afternoon, at 17:00, will be the traditional procession with the statue of the patron through the main streets of the town, after completing the act, will celebrate Mass.
Also, the Solemn Novena in honor of St. Eulalia of Merida, which will take place from 11 to 19 December, will be preached by the pastor of the Church of Santiago el Mayor weekdays at 19:30 and holidays at 18 : 00 hours.
Finally, on Sunday 18 at 12:00 will take place the wreath at the Constitution Square to the patron after the party is concentrated, as is traditional in the Glorieta del Convento.
This year 2,000 posters have been printed with the image of the patron saint of the municipality, which can be picked up at the church of Santiago or the Office of Tourism of the City.
