The new mayor of Totana calls for political consensus, proximity to the city and work together as fundamental axes (11/06/2011)

The new Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz has called for political consensus, proximity to the city and work together as axes establish that ensure the interests of local residents over the next four years, during speech institutional endowments in the act of taking possession of the new municipal council which was held in Film Velasco.

Sánchez Ruiz began his speech by congratulating the neighbors Totana for its massive turnout last May 22 and all the councilors of the new corporation for the important task entrusted to the neighbors to work for the present and future City of Totana.

Publicly expressed its appreciation with admiration and affection for the outgoing mayor José Martínez Andreo, Totana being a privilege that has had a mayor like him who has left a very high standard.

He also discussed the situation in which lies the municipality and that significant challenges marked by the socio-economic situation will lead to a rational management of resources and constant adaptation to changing times.

Thus, we continue to work to revive the economy, employment remains a key priority.

In this sense, the municipal councilor stressed that, rather than a priority, an obligation which must involve all together, from the unity and common commitment.

He indicated that citizens will have the doors open to all City Council and offered loyalty, devotion, dedication and hard work to carry out the project that begins today.

The municipal corporation is totanera councilors with 11 PP, 6, and 4 IU PSOE.

Specifically, the PP, led by the mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, is composed by: Paul Felix Cayuela, Maria Jose Baeza, Jose David Amorós, Maria José Bedia, Diego Muñoz, Josefa María Méndez Sánchez, Bartolomé Pallares, Alfonso Cayuela, Eulalia Sandoval, and Francisco Hernandez.

By the Socialist Party are Juan Francisco Otálora; Usero José Martínez, María Dolores Redondo, Maria Belen Muniz, José Gómez, and María del Carmen Cabrera.

For its part, IU + Greens is made up of councilors Juan José Cánovas, Juan Valero, Eulalia Moreno and Pedro Martínez.
