Totana host the training seminar "Working with people build community" (13/04/2011)

Totana hosts the 28th April in the Socio-Cultural Center "The Prison," The training day "Working with people build community" organized by the Federation for the promotion of community development "Akazie."

This meeting was presented by Councillor for Citizen Participation, Juan Carrion, head of communications and the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle", Eva Leon, which organizes this event.

Carrion explained that, once again, Totana scenario is set in which spaces are encouraged that focus associative experiences as an exchange of good practices for partnerships.

Thus, as the mayor pointed out, it creates a joint working forum through which the tools are enhanced each of the groups offered in the day's work.

For its part, the head of the lamp, which thanked the cooperation of the Department of Citizenship, has indicated that in this day and associations involving members of various cities in Spain, and Social Welfare technicians from different municipalities of the Region Murcia.

Also explained that this is an encounter in which exchange experiences between associations.

The day will start at 9:30 am with the presentation and inauguration by the president of Akazie, Miren Arantxa Gutiérrez, the council of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo.

At 10:15 will be held the roundtable "socially responsible territories: community work as a local development strategy" of the hand responsible for the Social Integration of the Foundation "La Caixa", Chairman of the Group Quick Promocions Daniel Jover, the vice president of Akazie, Eva Maria Leon, and will be chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Murcia, Pastor Enrique Soler.

From 12:30 pm will be out in the table experiments involving Gazteleku Association (Bilbao) The Candle Association, and the Foundation Marianao (Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona).
