In a spectacular setting of Vigo and a circuit where he competed last year a world championship event in mountain bike downhill, was held this past March 27, the second round of the Open of Spain and valid for International C1, where brought together the best riders in Europe.
The team VICMAR - MUNDOBICI - CL BRAKES went to the race with three runners to compete in the categories of ELITE Joaquin Antonio (Alhama de Murcia), 30 with Jose Quiles MASTER (Almansa, Albacete) and 40 with José Sánchez MASTER (Totana living at the Hoya de Lorca).
The circuit was again a real muddy after rains during training on Saturday and Sunday before the race leading to limit the chances of staying on top of the bike without falling.
The circuit can be considered one of the most beautiful in Spain, not only by their environment, but for the variety of its design: trialeras wood, stone slabs, and most spectacular track, the jumps to the delight of the public and runners.
ELITE Joaquin Antonio known as the ninth, was ranked number 17 national brokers
MASTER 30 José Quiles did a lap that led him to 4 th place only staying half a second on the podium and has earned to be placed 3 rd overall in the Open in Spain.
MASTER 40 Jose Sanchez had a fall that he was deprived of getting to win the race, but his time was good enough to sit in 3rd position and up to the podium and become Lideral the Championship of Spain in the second test.
This year the Championship will have five tests which are to play three.
The 1 st was held in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Barcelona and the second in Coruxo, Vigo.

-10 April in Girona, valid for the Open Championship in Spain and Europe.
-28 May in Motril, Granada, Spain Open
-11 September in Vall d'UXO, Castellon, Spain Open.
