The Police Canine Unit Local de Totana (K-9) participated last week in the "Third Conference of Police and Military dog ​​handlers" held in the town of Mostoles Madrid.
During the exhibition, which took place in the Plaza de Toros de Móstoles, exercises were carried out drugs and explosives search, obedience joint between different units, individual obedience, obstacle, finding people, finding money and defense drills and attack.
The Police Canine Unit Local de Totana participated in the search for drugs, using two dogs who are currently serving in that unit.
The event was attended, besides civil and military authorities, many schools in the city of Móstoles, leaving young people excited about the abilities of dogs in police work.
Similarly, during the day were presentations on skills and performance of canine units and new challenges, food, types of searches, among other topics.
