Over 40 youth have participated in the activities of the "Imagine +" which has conducted a short workshop in the last quarter of the year.

Besides learning about the development of short, participants in this activity have addressed the issue of intercultural tolerance and equality, since the plot of the script dealt with about two young men from different ethnic groups that fell in love, and how group membership ethnic minorities may hinder the normal development of the life of a person.

As a final project, all participants in the activities and training workshops held last weekend Christmas party, which in turn served as a farewell.

Thanks to this project has achieved an improvement in the participants' social competence, and now young people have acquired skills that make them capable of accepting rules, taking turns to speak, solve problems or conflicts nonviolently, to participate actively in the development of the activities, collaborating with the monitors and the center itself, the ability to work together, take initiative for the development of other activities, etc.

For all this, as reported by the Collective Candil, is of vital importance to recognize the effort that is made from the Civil Service, in this case from the City of Totana, so that these initiatives can be carried out, involvement is demonstrated not only from financing activities but also through the coordination and ongoing technical support.

This program, promoted through the Youth Council, with funding from the Directorate General Youth of the Region of Murcia, has developed over the last quarter of 2010 a program of dynamic young people, under the name "Imagine +", which have conducted several workshops and training and leisure activities for young people aged 12 years.

The delivery of the various scheduled workshops run by two social entities of the municipality, on the one hand the Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" and other Cultural and Youth Association "Ministers of the Air", recently created and representative a large group of young totaneros.

A previously developed workshops Graffiti and Digital Photography, have been joined by the realization of Short Films, which has had great success among the participants, who could address the development of a short film in all its phases: selection of subject matter and development of the original idea, script development, distribution of roles, preparation of the shooting, shooting, assembly, and release of the film.
