The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, and the mayor of the Presidency and Institutional Relations, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, will close on Thursday November 11, the Second Congress Federico García Lorca in which they participated schools students IES Prado Mayor of Totana, Study Center of Sun City and IES Lorca Lorca Prince of Asturias.
This Congress, which runs from today until Thursday, aims to make students experience the conference live on their own initiative.
During these days, young people are responsible for organizing, presenting their papers, informing the media, etc. In a rewarding activity for all these students and all academic, social and cultural rights.
The Congress will be closed in Totana with the performance of the play The House of Bernarda Alba as a finishing touch by IES Prado Theatre Company Staff, on Thursday, November 11 at 17:00 pm in the theater Sociocultural Center Jail.
The activities of the conference will open with two lectures by experts, Jesús Martínez Gómez, professor and literary critic of the Journal Mercury and Gilberto Vásquez, a professor and stage director of that IES Prado Mayor Theatre Company.
The second day will be entirely devoted to the presentation of papers in which students have worked during the quarter.
