Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez, visited the Hall's Mobile Computing Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, the bus enabled to provide computer courses, located in the town, November 2 and, where they are making advanced computer courses for women.
The objective of this initiative, which is free, as reported by the mayor, is to reduce the digital gender gap, bringing the world of information technology and communication to people that even know.
It has also declared that "this training activity is intended to incorporate the Internet into their women every day, both for finding information, and to perform routine procedures, communicate with others, seek employment and training or as an alternative leisure ".
These free courses as informed Sanchez Mendez, part of the Training Program 2010 Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia and are coordinated by the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities.
These proposals training participants are learning the basics related to new communication technologies and access to Internet, using Internet tools and resources useful for everyday life such as sites devoted to job search or electronic commerce.
