The Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" has carried out various training activities and workshops in the different projects that it is carrying out, from which children, young people and adults have benefited, participating in awareness-raising activities aimed at the awareness of gender equality.
A total of 48 boys and girls, participants in the project of "Socio-educational intervention with families and minors in a socially disadvantaged situation", have carried out storytelling workshops, called "The tale of the reverse ... the ashen prince", thus making a group reflection on stereotypes and gender roles.
This resource, which develops school support activities and educational leisure with children, is subsidized by the General Directorate of Family and Social Policies of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM).
Likewise, 30 people participating in the Labor Program, received on March 1 at the Social Center of San Roque, a training talk by the techniques of the Center for Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI) of the municipality of Totana.
The participants, men and women, were able to reflect through videos, dynamics, participatory activities, etc.
on the importance of gender equality in today's society.
The Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" has been grateful for the great involvement and collaboration of CAVI techniques.
The project "Labor2.0: Youth Guarantee" is subsidized by the European Social Fund, within the framework of the Operative Youth Employment Program and by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM).
In turn, the project "Labor: a step towards employability" is subsidized by the European Social Fund by 80% and by the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) by 20%.
Finally, a total of 15 students participating in the "Professional Training Program of Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries and Gardens", made a Cycle of Short Film Screening, analysis and debate on "Women in the world of work and in today's society".
This training program is subsidized by the Ministry of Education and is taught in the Social Center of the San Roque neighborhood.
