The "Tío Juan Rita" as he is known in the local and regional cultural field is a man of an enviable artistic and human career, closely linked to the municipality of Totana, where he has lived for many years.

He was born in Aledo on February 14, 1912, but the vicissitudes of life moved him, along with his mother and a brother to Zúñiga, in the municipality of Lorca, from where it was natural and lived until he got married.
