Francisco José Moreno Momiejo, 4th year ESO student of the Reina Sofía School, has obtained a scholarship to study 1st year of High School at a High School in the United States or Canada next school year 2018-19.
The student has managed to overcome the three phases of the program and be selected from among the more than 9,700 applications of all that has received the scholarship program of the Amancio Ortega Foundation this year.
This program aims to facilitate the learning of English and immersion in foreign culture to young people of Spanish institutes and schools during an academic year.
To do this, it organizes 500 scholarships aimed at 4th year ESO students from Spanish centers.
The selected students will live with a host family and will study Grade 11 (equivalent to 1st year of Bachillerato).
The scholarship covers 100% of the services necessary to complete a school course abroad: travel, school fees, validation of studies, accommodation and meals in a host family, medical and accident insurance, and continued support during the ten years months of stay
