The Councilor for Finance, Ana María Cánovas, recalls that the large families of Totana who want to benefit from real estate tax (IBI) bonuses of their normal home have until May 31 that the term ends, and that they must request it in The Citizen Service of the City.
The mayor recalls that taxpayers holding large families have a bonus on the full IBI fee, which percentage varies according to the category of each of the families and can be requested within the first five months of the current year.
Thus, a 40% bonus of the full tax rate is established for large families of general category (up to four children) and 60% for special category families (five or more children).
Bonuses are granted each year at the request of the large family owner and the interested parties must submit the request for the bonus identifying the property, together with a photocopy of the document indicating ownership of the property, a large family certificate, Photocopy of the IRPF declaration sheet.
Therefore, it is reiterated that the deadline for submitting said application ends on May 31 and the application must be submitted in the SAC with all the necessary additional documentation to process said bonus.
