(AUDIO) Approved at the request of the PP the commission of investigation to clarify the authorship of the alleged false allegations to the General Plan (28/04/2017)

During the celebration of yesterday's plenary in the City of Totana and proposed by the Municipal People's Group was unanimously approved the creation of a commission of inquiry to clarify the authorship of the alleged false allegations to the General Municipal Plan of Ordinance denounced by means of press and social networks By Mr. Alcalde and his political group, according to report from the PP of Totana in a statement.

This commission of inquiry will be chaired by the Mayor and will have a member of each of the political groups, as well as the presence of the Secretary of the City Council and legal urban planning.

During the debate on the motion, it was agreed that the commission should be swift and agile, in order to clarify as soon as possible any irregularities that may have been committed.

To this end, it is expected that the conclusions will be obtained before the holding of the May plenary session, so that actions can be carried out that are considered relevant.

In the development of the debate and after the proposal of the representative of the Municipal People's Party, the Mayor even indicated that there were around 150 allegations that he could verify that they contain some type of irregularity;

Either because they are deceased persons, minors or, if applicable, neighbors who are not aware of having made any type of allegation.

"Since the Municipal People's Group is not our goal to prosecute any type of action, but we must take into account that the Municipal Corporation represents all of Totana's neighbors and we have to watch over compliance with laws."

"We want this commission to be implemented as soon as possible and to clarify once and for all possible irregularities that have been carried out in the allegations to the General Plan since we consider that if these facts are so, and do not doubt the declarations of the Mayor at any time, these are very serious facts, as they have a clear and unethical intentionality, "the statement concludes.
