The Department of Infrastructures and Services to the City is undertaking during the last weeks works of conditioning and improvement on the sidewalks in an urban stretch of the Santa Eulalia avenue, within the actions integrated in a layout plan of accessibility in the urban area for this Legislature, according to its holder, Victor Balsas.
The works have a budget that amounts to 2,500 euros which is the cost of materials, given that the workforce corresponds to the workers of the Municipal Warehouse and workers of the program of the "County Councils".
The actions affect about fifty linear meters of the avenue Santa Eulalia, in the section between the streets Calleja and Emilio Mora, respectively, of this locality;
And it is about stretches of sidewalks between 1.30 and 1.10 centimeters in order to comply with the accessibility regulations.
The Councilor for Infrastructure has explained is that the claim is that two people can walk along the same sidewalk with full security and added that a lane has been left on the road between 3 and 3.3 meters, depending on the place, which allows The standard transit of all types of vehicles, roads and buses.
