After completing the basic training course in personal and social skills developed last November and December 2016 by the Collective for Social Promotion El Candil, from its area of ​​Employment and Training has begun a new edition of the course of surface cleaning And furniture in buildings and premises that, since last January, has been given, in the premises of the Social Center of the District of San Roque.

This training has 15 participants unemployed and has a total duration of 60 hours in the classroom that are reinforced with non-work practices in companies specialized in cleaning, which means a contact with real working environments, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the staff of CLECE Cleaning Services, and GRUPO EULEN in its cleaning area, both companies with extensive experience in the provision of this type of services and with national and international implementation.

The main objective of this training is to acquire the skills to perform the tasks of cleaning and maintenance of surfaces and furniture in buildings and premises, selecting the techniques, tools, products and machines to guarantee the hygiene, conservation and maintenance, if necessary, under the Supervision of the competent professional, complying with the applicable safety and health regulations.

For this, two blocks of contents are being worked on the one hand in cleaning, treatment and maintenance of floors, walls and ceilings in buildings and premises (30 hours) and on the other hand, cleaning of interior furniture (30 hours)

This course is part of the training activities carried out by the "LABOR: A step towards employability" project, which has been operating in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the City of Totana and financed by the Instituto Murciano de Social Action by 20% and by the European Social Fund by 80%.

Through the project LABOR aims to inform, train and guide unemployed people on aspects related to the world of work and their active search for employment.

It is a socio-labor initiative, in which it tries to facilitate the labor insertion of those people who are interested in participating actively in the change of their unemployment situation and that they find special difficulties.
