The Department of Education and Culture of the City of Totana and the Federation of Carnival Clubs of this town have agreed, respectively, to establish from this year the figures of Don Carnal and La Musa infantil coinciding with the celebration of this party.
To acquire this condition you can present all students from 3 ° to 6 ° of Primary Education of all schools of Totana.
This was agreed at the meeting held last week with representatives of the Associations of Mothers and Parents (AMPAS) Totana schools to outline the details of this year's Children's Carnival.
For this, the interested parties have to fill out a registration form for the draw to be made, whose deadline for submission ends on February 1.
The people who want to attend can acquire the applications through the AMPAS of the schools or in the Department of Education, where it is mandatory to submit the registration form (ground floor main building City Hall).
The draw will take place in the plenary hall of the City of Totana on Thursday, February 2;
And its result will be made public during the dinner that this year organizes the Federation of Carnival Peñas in the restaurant "Venta La Rata", and in which the poster announcing and Don Carnal and La Musa adults is officially presented .
Those chosen in the draw will be publicly presented on February 18 at the carnival proclamation '2017, to be held from 20:30 hours, in the auditorium of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz."
Children's carnival
The parade of the Children's Carnival will be on Sunday, February 26, starting at 11:30 am, with the following itinerary: departure in the avenue of Lorca and tour by the street Sol, Plaza de la Constitución, Puente, San Antonio and Finalization in fairground.
The order of the parade of the colleges will be "Reina Sofía" College, CEIP "San José", CEIP "Deitania", CEIP "Santa Eulalia", CEIP "The Cross", CEIP "Santiago", CEIP "Luis Pérez Rueda", College "La Milagrosa" and CEIP "Tierno Galván".
