Civil Protection reports that, for the moment, an average of more than 120 liters per square meter has fallen and several roads of the secondary network have been cut in the municipality

Civil Protection in Totana reports that since last Friday, as a consequence of the rainy season, an average in the municipality of Totana of just over 120 liters per square meter.

At the moment, it rains with intensity in different zones of the municipal term and has been some zones of Sierra Espuña the most beneficiaries of this temporary one that will last until tomorrow in which the alert will decrease of orange to yellow, and will be mitigated facing the middle of the week.

As a consequence of the rainy season, some roads of the secondary road network have been cut in the municipality of Totana, such as El Raiguero, El Hinojar and Los Motolitos and Juan Teresa, respectively.

It has also had to cut in Sierra Espuña, the road that communicates with the Air Surveillance Station Eva 13 cut by landslides in the road.

The three branches that cross the town center of Totana have for the moment exited with varying intensity without any occurrence to be lamented, except for material damage in agricultural holdings and flooding of agricultural estates.

The emergency services, Civil Protection and Local Police, have attended since yesterday about a dozen warnings due to problems related to rain, mainly due to water pumping in houses of some streets and garages of the urban helmet.

Likewise, the collection of sewerage records and covers has been registered in numerous streets of the slums of Totana, but in general there have been no incidents of consideration as has occurred elsewhere in the Region of Murcia due to the storm .

As a preventive measure, today the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" will be closed to avoid risks due to the fall of a tree inside the enclosure.

Likewise, a vehicle has been rescued by Civil Protection volunteers on the Lébor Road, stuck by mud.

Both Civil Protection, Local Police (968418181) and the Municipal Works Brigade and Water and Sewerage Service (emergency telephone: 616311606) remain alert to incidents in the municipality.

Also, a lot of caution is recommended on the road and even avoid getting vehicles if not absolutely necessary.

The climatological forecast indicates that the rains will continue to register with intensity in the next hours and this temporary will continue until the beginning of the new week, that will be mitigating in the different districts of the autonomous community.
