During the months of November and December of 2016 this course was developed, with 16 registered participants.
This training has a total duration of 58 hours and is attended by students unemployed in the municipality of Totana.
The course is developed in the Social Center of San Roque neighborhood, being possible thanks to the collaboration offered by the Hon.
Totana Town Hall with the transfer of this place.
The main objective of this training is to improve basic social skills, and acquisition of job search techniques is vitally important when it comes to finding a job and maintaining it.
To this end, they are working on content blocks such as training in social skills, development of social and emotional intelligence, active job search techniques, basic technological skills and gender equality.
This course is part of the training activities carried out by the "LABOR: A step towards employability" project, which has been operating in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the City of Totana and financed by the Instituto Murciano de Social Action by 20% and by the European Social Fund by 80%.
Through this project is intended to inform, train and guide unemployed people on aspects related to the world of work.
It is a socio-labor initiative, in which it tries to facilitate the labor insertion of those people who are interested in participating actively in the change of their unemployment situation and that they find special difficulties.
