The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities of the City of Totana has organized a march, a performance and the reading of institutional manifesto in the plaza of the Constitution for this Friday, November 25, the date on which marks the International Day against The Violence of Gender.

In this way, this Friday, at 19:30 hours, and coinciding with this anniversary, will be the March through the main streets of Totana as a show of support for victims of gender violence and special homage to the dead, with Departure and arrival in the Plaza de la Constitución.

At 20:00 hours, the institutional reading of the Manifesto against Gender Violence and Performance, also in the Plaza de la Constitución, will be held, which was approved by the Municipal Corporation in the ordinary plenary session last October.

In addition, today the distribution of lilac ties against gender violence takes place in the weekly market, organized by the associations "Empecemos a Caminar" of El Raiguero and "Housewives, Consumers and Users Three Hail" of Totana.

On Thursday, November 24, the round table "United against gender violence" will take place in the exhibition hall "Gregorio Cebrián", starting at 18:30 hours, organized by the associations "Empecemos a Caminar" of El Raiguero And "Housewives, Consumers and Users Three Hail Marys" of Totana.

Also, on Tuesday, November 29, at 4:00 p.m., it will be the Walk Against Gender Violence, leaving from the side of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" to the church of the municipal cemetery "Nuestra Señora del Carmen" organized By the association "Housewives, Consumers and Users Three Hail" of Totana.

On December 1, in the municipal plenary hall, will be held the Juridical Day "Physical and psychological maltreatment habitual and its repercussion in minors", aimed at professionals working in the field of gender violence, previous registration in the Department Of Women (968/418177).

During these days, the commemorative flag with the number of victims of this year and the lilac lighting of the town hall building remain as a symbology against gender violence.
