Totana City Council continues with the actions of the campaign to promote recycling of selective waste "If you separate well, we recycle better," which is the main objective of promoting source separation of waste of light containers and waste of paper cardboard for subsequent deposit in the clean point, ie in the yellow and blue containers, thus achieving greater citizen involvement in the culture of recycling.
The main action of this campaign is the IV Contest "Recycle and Win", with which it is intended to convey the importance of responsible consumption of limited environmental resources by adopting sustainable behaviors and habits with the environment.
Furthermore, it aims to foster a positive and critical attitude that leads to a decrease in waste generation;
and learn the correct separation of packaging for recycling.
To do this, it will give citizens a prize rewards the effort from their homes performing work of separation of waste plastic containers, cans and cartons, and cartons, paper, newspapers and magazines, and later deposit in its corresponding container.
It will deliver a card participation to any person to turn to the Green Mobile (assembly formed by the mobile information point PIM and containers for recycling containers and cardboard) with their waste and deposit them correctly.
The card, duly completed, with your name and phone number, the entered into an urn, where the cards of participants eligible for the award will be collected.
All for the development and execution of the contest, information will be transmitted through different media (press and TV), as well as through posters and leaflets will be distributed in different municipalities.
The contest will begin on November 9 and will end on 29th of the same month;
and the schedule for the reception of participants will be from 10.00 to 13.00 hours (in the morning) and 17.00 to 19.30 (evening).
Anyone wishing to take part in the competition, will have to go to any of the following locations, where it will be placed mobile green point:
9, 10 and 11 November: PLAZA Juan de la Cierva, compared to Glorieta.

16 and 17 November: C / CAĂ‘ADA ZAMORA, intersection with C / Rosa and C / San Ramon.

22, 23 and 24 November: C / SAN FRANCISCO DE ASIS, along Fairground.
25, 28 and 29 November: PLAZA OF THE CONSTITUTION.
During this period, an environmental educator will be in the PIM, placed at points of the municipality elected for this purpose, and that citizens be informed beforehand.
Next to PIM containers (yellow and blue), in which the participant deposited, as appropriate and under the supervision of the environmental educator, your waste bag (light packaging and / or paper and cardboard) will be found.
Once the deposit is made, the environmental educator will be given a participation card which will be filled with personal data and to be introduced in an urn;
and in addition, each participant was presented with a bag of raffia in yellow or blue, for the separation of their packaging waste paper or cardboard.
For each deposit (minimum one bag) waste is carried to the container, citizen participation will get a ballot.
Therefore, the more times you visit the mobile green dot with light packaging waste and / or paper-cardboard, the more chances you have to win (will be given a share for each deposit, not for each bag to carry at the same time. it will not take two bags on the same occasion and it is delivered by two shares).
The prize is a one night stay for two people in a three star hotel in a resort Murcia, in full board.
It expiry of the period of the competition and collected the cards of all participants, will proceed to the extraction of the winning card, whose act is publicly held on Monday December 19 at 12.00 in the plenary hall.
