The Councillor for Education, Eulalia Moreno, and the head of studies of the extent of Totana, Reme Ruiz, reported the process that opens from Friday to study a language in the EOI of the town.

The extent of Totana of the Official Language School teaches this course, as a new, advanced level of English expanding the training offer this public service in this county.

Thus the Basic level (two courses), Intermediate (two courses) and Advanced (1 course with two groups) so taught that is expected to formalize their enrollment for the new course approximately 350 students.

The study procedure of the EOI is two evenings a week for two hours, ie, a total of four hours per week;

and also it offers the possibility of blended learning (two contact hours and the rest through an online platform which enabled this effect).

The implementation of the Advanced Level in the extension of Totana was one of claims that the mayor, Juan José Canovas, and the Councillor for Education, Eulalia Moreno, moved to the President of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Ministry of Education in recent months given the demand for this teaching in this county.

In this way, students interested in learning a second language may this year, for the first time, access to the modality of English Basic, Intermediate and Advanced, in times of evening and morning, taught at the Center for Development Local and IES "Juan de la Cierva" respectively.

In addition, you can also pursue studies in French at different levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and Italian (initial and intermediate) in Lorca.

During the course 2016/2017 have studied English in the extension of Totana about 320 students at various levels offered.

Interested persons can do so from 16 years paying an average cost of € 86 per course plus 20 euros for opening record, although there are numerous bonuses.
