Totana City Council will participate again in the "Eurydice" training program to enable young foreigners stay by conducting professional practices and training in this state within the 2016 call.
The Consistory is waiting for potential candidates choose the option of the municipality of Totana for their training and work so they can begin from next October practices.
Last year two young, Portuguese and French nationality and made their corresponding practices in the totanero Consistory;
one as assistant Administrative Management in the municipal water company, and another as a tourist informer in the Tourist Office.
The departments of Economic Development and Youth requested several months the aid under the program to finance the training work practices from different European regions, the same way as paths memories tourist informer and assistant in administrative management in the framework of the project .
The Autonomous Community, through the body responsible for Youth, has been participating since 2004 in the development of "Eurydice" program, created in 1985 by the Assembly of European Regions (AER), and chaired by the principle of interregional reciprocity.
This aims to enable young Europeans aged between 18 and 30 years, from all backgrounds and training, benefit from the support of the regions to get a formative stay in a European region through the development of professional practices and training.
Given the importance of this initiative for vocational training of young people and their adaptation to the labor market and the promotion of regional and European awareness and promoting international projection of organizations and companies, the City of Totana and participated in 2015 in this program.
Individual to receive for each offer practical training amount determined based on the month of practice (between two and five months), setting the amount of the monthly payment in about nine hundred euros;
which is funded by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia at a rate of 20%, and the remaining 80% by the European Social Fund.
