The Day Centre for Intellectual Disability "José Moya Trilla" celebrates the closing ceremony of the end of year 2015/2016 during an intimate encounter with many surprises (28/07/2016)

City officials yesterday closed the course 2015/2016 in the Day Centre "José Moyá", attended by a large audience during an intimate encounter that was attended users, families, professionals, business representatives and associates , volunteers, students of practices, among others.

The event, which was attended by the mayor, Juan José Canovas, and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Javier Baños, was organized with great enthusiasm by all professionals in the center;

and it featured different significant moments in which the protagonists were users.

First, users and professionals have surprised the audience with a musical performances, including dances highlighted the world, dances and musical performances active.

This was followed by the presentation of certificates to all users of the center and individuals, companies and collaborating institutions for the support they have given to the center during this course 2015/2016.

Among the awards and acknowledgments have been found, the following companies and organizations: "Esprineco" for its awareness program for the care of pets;

"MOVE" for his work and involvement with disabilities;

"Music School" for their collaboration in music education;

the local police, for their collaboration in the driver education program;

and the company "Candy" for its collaboration with the occupational program.

Among the acknowledgments on a personal level, those of the socialist regional deputy, Alfonso Martínez baths were found, their sensitivity to people with disabilities, contributing selflessly five exercise bikes to perform sport at the center;

Marcos Gómez and Agustín Martínez for his work as drivers;

Gregorio Martinez Gomez, for his collaboration in the gardening workshop;

and totanero group "Los Charrasqueado" by putting music to the act of end of course.

After this release, the event continued with the words that the authorities provided all attendees, presenting a video summary of some activities and moments experienced during the year;

and to round off the performance of the group totanero "The Charrasqueado", which put music and joy to the finale.

The Day Centre José Moyá "thus said goodbye to all attendees until August 29, will resume their activities.

33 users return from this date to enjoy all services and therapeutic programs offered at the Center, as assistance in activities of daily living, Fall Prevention and Postural Hygiene, Toilet, Hygiene and toilet training, handling, Transport, Healthcare, Care and Social Rehabilitation Promotion of Autonomy, Occupational Therapy, Functional Rehabilitation, Communication, improving cognitive skills and psycho-affective, sensory stimulation, use of the Community Movement and physical Development, Health and Safety, and advice to families.

This comprehensive care aims to promote a better quality of life, enhancing the autonomy and integration of people with disabilities.
