The PSOE criticizes the harsh cuts in education PP (13/06/2016)

The Socialist Party has always supported and will support public education, so consider bleak that the Popular Party, follow mantillas leaving the educational system of our country.

Popular carry cutting back on education for years, but the hardest cuts have been those who are currently taking place since 2012.

Not only they carry cutting back for years, but the next school year will continue to be affected by others, such as the removal of 40 lines of primary education in public schools in different municipalities, resulting in 90 teachers do not work the the next course.

Since 2012 they have eliminated more than 250 lines.

So far, this deletion does not affect the municipality of Totana, but others like Yecla and Ceuta, among others, which are already on the warpath, claiming no suppression of these classrooms.

Other cuts, comes from the hand of the draft order of quotas, which will be another covert ERE secondary school teachers and will lead to around 90 high school teachers to the long list of more than 3,000 interns join dismissed in recent years.

This group, that of the interims, is another open front having the Ministry of Education and that it is considering the possibility of not paying the summer months, although an amendment was approved budgets for the regional government to do against this payment, as required by article 28 of the Budget Law of the Region of Murcia.

In this sense, the PSOE will continue to fight from different instances, so that the Ministry face the payment of the summer months to temporary, because they think that "equal work, equal pay".

The PSOE will not consent to have an irresponsible regional government, which is unwilling to enforce its own budget law, as is happening.

Therefore, the Socialists continue to support all those claims that are made from various union sections and platforms in defense of public education and against continued cuts the Popular Party, which are only eroding the quality of the education system and attacking the rights of the educational community.

The PSOE is committed to the repeal of the LOMCE and the development of a Basic Law of Education that starts with the consensus of all stakeholders, equality of opportunity and the right to education.
