Last Thursday evening a meeting between members of the Municipal People's Party and the residents of the districts of the Vines-Carivete and Huerta, attended by the Director General of Highways José Antonio Fernández Lladó took place.

At that meeting, both members of the PP and the neighbors requested the Director General to the action that should be done in the C8 must be integrated action for full accordance.

Since 2007 the PP governments have been following the CARM for the adequacy of this route, for various reasons have been unable to carry out its arrangement.

Now the CARM after the amendments to the budgets of 2016 by the PSOE, has a batch of 100,000 € for settlement, but the PP of Totana considers that it is fair that what should be done is to carry out the project which it was drafted at the time in 2007 and for an amount of 1.029.012,33 € was updated in 2014 based on the Rehabilitation integrates the firm and esplanade road

The Director General of Highways who told neighbors that an investment of € 100.000,00 in this way would not solve the situation practically nothing of it and agreed with the neighbors that more investment is needed, in addition to complying with agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and the people of Totana.

Prior to this meeting, the spokesman for the Popular Totana and members of his team had met with the Director and the Director General to express the urgent need and debt with neighbors for the settlement of the road.

After the meeting and viability expressed during the same the Director General, The Popular Party has made the request formally submitting a motion to the next plenary session of May in which the City Council urge the Ministry of Public Works to carry conduct a full action for the rehabilitation of the RM-C8 and not restricted to investment approved amendments to the budget of the CARM 2016, considering insufficient a performance by that amount and the neighbors have long been waiting the arrangement of this route.

From the Popular Party we want to thank the willingness expressed by the Minister of Public Works and the Director General of Highways to this proposal and neighbors of the Vines-Carivete and Huerta is important to build and look to the future work for the general interests of the totaneros and not be internal guerrillas that all involved is paralysis and blockade of the institution.
