BDA organizes a presentation on the new regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment in agriculture and livestock (21/03/2016)

The agricultural organization "ASAJA Murcia" has organized a conference on the new regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment in agriculture and livestock, as well as funds from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

The event took place at the offices of CLD and had the collaboration of the Department of Agriculture of the City of Totana.

In the same they participated the first deputy mayor and Councillor for Agriculture, Andrés García, who opened the talk;

and as speakers attended the general secretary of ASAJA Murcia, Alfonso Gálvez, and the general director of Land Fund of the Autonomous Community, Carmen Garcia Frago.

In addition, representatives gave cites sponsors of this paper, such as Encarna Muñoz Serrano (manager Anticimex Murcia) and Rocio Valencia del Río (responsible Developer Business Bureau Veritas).

Councillor for Agriculture thanked and congratulated "ASAJA Murcia" by organizing an event of this nature and said that since the departments of Agriculture and Training and Employment will continue to work to promote all this kind of training initiatives at the Center Local development, since "we are receptive to welcome such initiatives that contribute to the formation of our farmers."

He added that since the Department of Agriculture think the training and continued recycling professionals in the primary sector must be a fundamental improvement of our companies and our products in an increasingly competitive and demanding market pillar.

- I believe this initiative is a clear example of the result of institutional collaboration between the city, the agricultural unions and sponsoring private companies and noted that the main objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy, created in 1962, are still highly topical and are subject to review to improve agricultural productivity so that consumers have a stable supply of food at affordable prices;

and ensure that EU farmers a reasonable life.

He also said that, fifty years after its creation, the CAP must face new challenges such as food security, climate change and sustainable management of natural resources and landscape conservation throughout the EU and maintaining a living rural economy;

some of whose themes are going to discuss today in this conference.
