The Department of Sports reports that last Wednesday, February 24, held at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibañez" in Totana, the Regional Final of "Playing athletics" School Sports, youngest category, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports City of Totana.
This program was attended by 24 schools across the Region of Murcia, who had the opportunity to compete in various modalities of Athletics, such as Speed, Launch Ball, Javelin Blanda, jumping rope, Triple Long Jump and Relay Races and obstacles.
In addition, we must highlight the participation of four teams totaneros school, both male category and female, belonging to the schools of "Santa Eulalia", "Reina Sofia" and "San Jose", who could not pass the first qualifying round groups.
The final winners were the College Sixto Lopez de Fortuna, in female form;
and the "poet Antonio Oliver" of Cartagena, in male category. College
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies and medals to the top three centers classified by the Director General of Sports, Alonso Gómez López;
and the Councillor for Sports City of Totana, Isabel Maria Lopez Molino.
