The first Local Government of this term will be held on Thursday, March 17, after completion of all the processes of citizen participation and take up their positions the different representatives of the totaneras councils, according to sources of the Department of Citizen Participation.
The new mayors-pedáneos officially took over last December 18 during an official ceremony held in the plenary hall, except the mayor of Morti-pedánea it did on 18 February.
The mayors-pedáneos in this term are Paqui Caballero Pérez (El Paretón-Cantareros), Salvador Murcia (La Sierra), Ana Maria Garcia (El Raiguero), Rosa Tudela Canovas (Vinas-Carivete), Mari Carmen Tapia Gómez (La Huerta) Concepcion Blazquez (Lébor), Esperanza Martinez Meseguer (the Coast) and the newly built Maria Jose Romero (Morti).
After the process of election or ratification of all neighborhood representatives in the eight councils of the municipality of Totana, as had been announced and committed representatives who make up the current municipal government team begins the next stage of the mayors-pedáneos in this new mandate.
In some cases, the village headman were chosen by election in the event that two or more candidates are presented;
while others were ratified by neighbors counting in both cases with significant local participation.
In this term, repeated four mayors-pedáneas in office: in this case, Vinas-Carivete, La Huerta, Lebor and La Costera;
while new in office neighborhood representatives of the Paretón-Cantareros, El Raiguero, La Sierra and Mortí
