The Totana Local Police have arrested a person for driving a motor vehicle without ever having obtained a driving license or permit.The events occurred last Saturday, around 2:05 p.m., when the Local Police patrol carried out a control of vehicles in order to observe compliance with the entry and exit restrictions of the municipality. A vehicle driven by a person who stated that he did not have a Spanish driving license or presented a driving license from his country of origin was stopped, for which he was detained for an alleged crime against road safety, being brought to justice , according to sources from the Local Police Headquarters. In addition, the following disciplinary proceedings have been opened:40 complaints for violation of article 7.1.a of Decree-Law 8/2020, of July 16, which establishes the sanctioning regime for non-compliance with the prevention and containment measures applicable in the Region of Murcia to address the situation of health crisis caused by Covid-19, for breach of the obligation to use masks or their inappropriate use (not covering the nostrils and chin), which can be sanctioned from 100 euros to 3,000 euros, depending on the circumstances. Section 6, article 4 of the Order of the Ministry of Health, which adopts specific and temporary measures for reasons of public health to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 that appeared in the municipality of Totana, sets the maximum time closing of the hotel establishments at 00:00 hours, not being able to admit new customers after 23:30.
