This means that discotheques and establishments that do not have open spaces should close, according to Villegas, since nighttime activity will be reduced to the terraces and outdoors with all customers seated.In addition, the number allowed in meetings is reduced to groups that do not exceed 15 people.

This limitation (which previously was 30 people) refers exclusively to social gatherings, family gatherings or groups on terraces.

The capacity of weddings or restaurants continues to be governed by the capacity regulations established in the BORM of June 19.As a preventive measure, the temporary closure of the day centers in Cieza and Totana has also been announced, in addition to restrictions on visits to nursing homes in Murcia, Cieza and Totana.These measures were taken at the meeting of the monitoring committee on COVID-19 after detecting a steady increase in cases in recent days, related to the outbreak that arose a month ago as a result of three infected people who came to the autonomous community from Bolivia.This outbreak now totals 105 infections, 40 of them related to nightlife.

This weekend, as reported by Villegas, 900 people who had gone to the premises of Atalayas and Totana have gone to health centers to undergo the PCR test in order to contain the chain of infections.The results of these measures will be seen in 14 days, as explained by the counselor, who announces that the decisions made to control infections will be reviewed.Villegas pointed out that "we are going through a crucial moment in the fight against the pandemic", in which the population "has to be aware of the importance of the measures to be adopted", and he lamented the "laxity" in the security measures in nightlife venues.He describes the epidemiological situation as "worrying" due to the start of community transmission among a sector of the population that is already affecting other sectors.Asked by the tracker teams, Villegas recalled that right now all Primary Care is already active and, in each of the health centers, depending on the level of alert or pre-alert, they already have teams that are tracking all suspected cases or narrow.The Totana City Council will expand these preventive measures agreed by the regional government in the next few hours whenever the order is published, with its specific measures, in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has announced that he will support the measures established by the regional and state health authorities; and Local Police and municipal resources will be available to ensure and comply with the regulations that they dictate; at the same time that he has reiterated his call for individual and collective responsibility without fear, for "we will overcome this together".
