Users of the Disability Day Centers give the Merchants Association the Christmas details (12/12/2019)

Users of the Disability Day Centers of Totana have delivered to the Association of Merchants the Christmas ornamental details with which they will decorate these festivities their commercial establishments in this town, and that have been made by them during the last months.

Users of the Day Center for People with Intellectual Disability "José Moyá Trilla" and the Day Center for People with Mental Illness "Princess Letizia" have, guided by their monitors, these Christmas details for the sixth year in a row, which will serve to decorate the shops adhered to this association.

The Councilor for Social Welfare, Javier Baños, and the president of the Association of Merchants of Totana, Francisco Andreo, participated in this ceremony that was held at the Day Center for People with Mental Illness, which also had the presence of Ceramics Workshop monitor, Enrique Galindo.

This year the Christmas details have consisted of the preparation of a hundred Christmas ceramic mandalas within the occupational, Care and Rehabilitation program of both centers.

The mayor congratulated everyone for this initiative and especially congratulated the users and professionals of both day centers for their involvement and effort;

At the same time, he thanked the Merchants' Association for re-trusting the possibilities of the two day centers, serving as testimony to the work carried out jointly by professionals, family members and users.

In addition, the monitor of the Ceramics Workshop thanked the Department for its support in this type of collaboration initiatives with the Association of Merchants of Totana;
