The Law 20/2011 of the Civil Registry is scheduled for entry into force on June 30, 2020.
One of the most pernicious effects of said law for public service and for citizenship is the massive closure of current Civil Registry offices in small and medium-sized towns, and that the books of births, marriages and deaths that make up the history of Our municipality since 1871 is taken outside our town.
If this law is not modified in the courts before its entry into force, the neighbors of Totana may be deprived of the direct attention of this service, being obliged to carry out these procedures by another means, using professionals or moving to other locations, alert from Win Totana.
Consequently, the administration of the citizen would be moving away and discriminating on the basis of territoriality and demography.
For this reason, from the Municipal Group Ganar Totana IU they raise a motion to the Plenary of December to urge the Government of the Nation and the Ministry of Justice, so that they proceed to the modification of the law 20/2011 of Civil Registry so that the provision of this public service directly in our municipality, as it has been to date.
