In view of the closing of the Study Rooms in Totana during the weekends, the insufficient opening hours of them and our urgent need to have a place to study, a group of students who usually use these rooms have made a collection of signatures during this weekend demanding to the City Council: THE URGENT OPENING OF A STUDY ROOM IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TOTANA WITH A LARGE SCHEDULE, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ALL YEAR ROUND.
With the objective of supporting this initiative, the students and interested parties of Totana, we have been in charge of the organization and realization of a signature collection campaign, which was carried out from last Friday 25 until Tuesday 29. With respect to it, We would also like to say that in this short period of time, a total of 480 SIGNATURES have been collected, which were delivered this morning, Wednesday 30, in the Totana City Council registry.
We are aware that there are initiatives regarding the opening of a 24-hour Study Room.
We want to express our support for them, although we are aware that this takes time.
Meanwhile, we demand that you immediately open a Study Room with more opening hours and include weekends.
We take advantage of this statement to demand greater clarity in time and form to notify the information of the changes of schedules, opening and closing days, since it is currently null or non-existent.
As for example, the last Hispanic Day, which in no way communicated the closing of the Hall.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all those who have collaborated with us, both in the collection of signatures, as well as the means that help us in the dissemination of our requests and needs.
That they are none other than improving accessibility, quality and study conditions, in short, a commitment to a better education for all totaneros and totaneras.
