The Local Government Board has recently awarded the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" the contract to develop the program "Making community" for an amount of 28,086.36 euros.
The "Making community" program focuses its action on the population of special situation of difficulty, risk or social exclusion, from an integrating and globalizing perspective.
This will complement the intervention carried out by the Municipal Center of Social Services, offering the population a more comprehensive social care, covering needs from their own involvement and prominence, through the development of a series of interrelated actions.
The performances have a fundamentally group and community character;
whose activities will focus on the educational reinforcement of the adolescent population, revitalization of the adolescent population in their free time and revitalization of the community in general.
The program is developed within the framework of the Gypsy Development Plan, subsidized by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare for 2019, with the participation of the City Council of Totana, this is how the municipality aligns with the objectives set out in the National Strategy for Gypsy Social Inclusion 2012 "2020.
