The Irrigation Community of the Tajo-Segura Transfer of Totana will celebrate its 40th anniversary this October with a week full of events of all kinds, which will last from 14 to 20 this month.
The program is aimed at audiences of all ages;
and among these, free activities such as technical conferences, lectures for schoolchildren that will feature a contest, a popular concert, a meal and a farming party, among others.
The program was presented last Friday, in the auditorium of the Community of Irrigators of Totana, in an act that was attended by the president of the Central Union of Irrigators of the Tajo-Segura Transfer (SCRATS), Lucas Jiménez, the president of said Community, Felipe Andreo and the mayor of Totana, Juan José Cánovas.
In addition, the presidents of the associations of rare diseases D´Genes and AELIP, Juan Carrión and Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela, respectively, with whom the Irrigation Community will collaborate in solidarity in some of its activities.
Jiménez, who invited citizens to participate in all the organized events, stressed that "the Transfer is an infrastructure of all, which benefits Levantine society in general and that is why we want with celebrations like this one that all its members can enjoy."
