The City of Totana announces that the suspension is maintained during the day of Friday, September 13, of classes in all education, as well as the closure of all services in the Disability Day Centers and municipal sports facilities before the resurgence of rainfall that can be very relevant and vehement in the coming hours, according to the forecasts of the State Meteorological Agency.
This decision has been taken, following the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the agencies that manage the safety and emergency device of this storm in this autonomous community, given the expected worsening of the weather, with extreme risk of torrential rains and floods throughout the Region during Friday.
In this way, all teaching activities are suspended in all educational centers in the Region in order to avoid unnecessary risks to educational communities, including nursery schools in the municipality.
This measure extends to the “Jose Moyá Trilla” and “Princesa Letizia” day centers, located in the Tirol-Camilleri neighborhood, as well as to the public sports infrastructures distributed by the municipality that will also remain closed to users at least until the Saturday morning before the presumable maintenance of the red level warning.
