The cultural activity organized during the last year in the municipal exhibition hall "Gregorio Cebrián" that more visitors registered was the "Exhibition of Belenista Art", with more than 5,500 records, organized by Francisco Javier Carrillo and the Department of Culture.

This was held from December 15 to January 6 coinciding with the program of Christmas and Kings activities;

and it was by far the one that registered the most visitors during the cultural season from October 2018 to June 2019.

During this time the Department, with the collaboration of associations and social and cultural groups of the municipality, a total of 10 exhibitions have been held, with different periodicity each of them, in which almost 9,000 visits have been recorded.

In addition, this year several samples have been promoted coinciding with the last leg of the celebration of the I Centenary of the City of Totana (1918-2018), which allowed the celebration of a wide and varied range of activities on the occasion of this event.

In October, the exhibition “Totana, in hundredth year of the year (1918-2018), which took place from October 4 to 28;

and was closed on October 18 due to inclement weather following a red rain alert, accounting for about 300 visits.

In addition, an exhibition of photography against gender violence was organized, with 140 visits;

After the Christmas and Reyes parties, in February, the exhibition "Once upon a time ... A tour of the collectibles and childhood readings (1894-1970)" was held by Mateo García, with 176 visits;

and the painting exhibitions, “Momentosâ€, by the totanero Pedro Mulero (255 visits) and “Pinturasâ€, by María José García Sánchez (198 visits).

In addition, it was celebrated, as usual, the exhibition of the works “This is how children see Easter Weekâ€, carried out by children from 4th to 6th grade of Primary Education, from 9 to 11 years old, promoted by the Vocalía de Formación del Illustrious Superior Cabildo of Processions â€(1,224 visits).

Similarly, the exhibition was organized on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the EVA-13 Air Surveillance Squad (606 visits) and the photography exhibition entitled “Effort and improvement in sportâ€, by Luis Conte, organized by the extension of the permanent headquarters of the University of Murcia (157 visits).

The painting exhibition, “Dreaming in colorsâ€, of the Association of Painters Con-Traste (231 visits) also took place.

Also, on September 20, the activity of the exhibition hall will be resumed, with a sample of Alfonso Gallego, named by the author as: “Poems-songs-watercolors of Sierra Espuña (Aledo-La Santa-Totana), which will remain open from September 20 to October 3.

Other exhibitions of interest are also scheduled, such as the 175th Anniversary of the Civil Guard, from October 10 to 20;

and an exhibition of ceramics “CeramiCómicâ€, by the totanero potter “El Poveo†and the IES professor Juan de la Cierva, Vicente Tiburcio, which will take place from October 24 to November 7.
