The City Council adheres to the award of the Diploma of Distinguished Services to the Pupaclown Association and the Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia, which promotes the Autonomous Community (28/05/2019)

Totana City Council has joined the Distinguished Services Diploma award to the Pupaclown Association and the Spanish Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia, promoted by the Ministry of Health.

The Local Government Board has recently agreed to give the green light to the proposals of the Mayor's Office stating its adherence to these proposals, whose files have been instructed by the Autonomous Community.

The first initiative aims to recognize the praiseworthy work of a large number of people involved in this association that performs a complex, highly rewarding service that has catapulted them to be a reference in the field of quality care at the regional and national levels.

The Pupaclown Association continues to increase its presence in society, with various initiatives that seek to raise awareness and disseminate the activity it develops.

For its part, the Spanish Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia has been developing a charity work incentivizing and promoting research and donation of bone marrow and putting the limited means available to people geographically distant.
