The electoral day of the municipal and autonomic elections of the 26-M passed today in Totana with total normality and without that it took place any type of incident, in which a definitive participation of the 61.98% was registered, that is to say, about five points less compared to the elections of 2015 (67.17%).
In the municipality of Totana, and once counted one hundred percent of the 32 polling stations spread across the 11 schools, a total of 12,292 citizens voted.
7,539 voters (38.02%) have abstained and 78 blank votes (0.64%) and 292 null votes (2.24%) have been registered.
Win Totana-IUV won the municipal elections today achieving in Totana a total of 3,343 votes (27.41%);
PP 3,269 (26.80%);
the PSOE 2.435 (19.97%), VOX 1.255 (10.29%), Now Totana 833 (6.83%);
Citizens 813 (6.67%);
White Seat 86 (0.71%) and Murcia Action 84 (0.69%).
In this meeting, the municipality had eleven polling stations, with a total of 32 tables, two tables more than those existing in the last municipal elections;
that is, the same ones that took place on April 28 in the general elections.
The eleven electoral colleges were the Municipal Center of the Third Age, the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", the CEIP "Santiago", the Social Center of the High Age, the Social Center of San Roque, the Local of the Capuchin Fathers, the CEIP "Santa Eulalia", the CEIP "Guadalentín" in El Paretón, the Adult Education Classrooms of Instituto Viejo, the CEIP "Tierno Galván" and the Social Center of Tyrol-Camilleri.
The electoral colleges of the Capuchin Fathers Local were added to this old "Santa Bárbara" Senior Center - and the Adult Education Classrooms of the Old Institute, which replace the "Clara Campoamor" and "Carmen Baró" Nursery Schools ", respectively.
In all of them there were representatives of the municipal administration who informed and coordinated during the day each of the details of the electoral process, in coordination with the Government Delegation in Murcia.
A total of eight candidates attended the municipal elections today in the City of Totana, so that the political parties that are presented are Win Totana-IU Green, Civil Platform NOW TOTANA (AT), Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE), Action Murcia (ACCM), Citizens-Citizenship Party (C's), Popular Party (PP), Vox and Blank Stalls (EB).
In the municipal and autonomous elections of 2015, in Totana a definitive participation of 67.17% was registered, that is, another six points less compared to the elections of the year 2011 (73.48%), voting a total of 13,010 citizens .
