A total of eight candidates attend the municipal elections in the City of Totana in the appointment of next May 26 (07/05/2019)

A total of eight candidates will eventually attend the municipal elections in the City of Totana in the appointment of next May 26, according to the Official State Gazette (BOE), complying with the electoral calendar established by the Organic Law of Regime Electoral (LOREG).

The political parties that present themselves to the municipal elections are Ganar Totana-IU Verdes, Civil Platform NOW TOTANA (AT), Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE), Murcia Action (ACCM), Citizens-Party of Citizenship (C's) , Partido Popular (PP), Vox and Escaños en Blanco (EB).

The candidates of these formations are, in this order, Juan José Cánovas Cánovas, José Antonio Andreo Moreno, Andrés García Cánovas, Juan Carlos Carrillo Ruiz, José David Amorós López, Juan Pagán Sánchez, María Dolores García Martínez and Cristina Zamarreño Sánchez.

In these municipal elections, and of these political formations, will be elected the 21 councilors and councilors that will make up the Municipal Corporation in the 2019/2023 term.

More than 21,000 voters will be able to exercise their right to vote in the next electoral convocation to the Regional Assembly, the European Parliament and the City Council in the municipality of Totana next May 26.

In this event, there will also be eleven polling stations, with a total of 32 tables, two tables more than those existing in the last electoral events;

the same as those that will take place this coming Sunday, April 28 in the general elections.

The eleven electoral colleges are the Municipal Center of the Third Age, the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", the CEIP "Santiago", the Social Center of the High Age, the Social Center of San Roque, the Local of the Capuchin Fathers, the CEIP "Santa Eulalia", the CEIP "Guadalentín" in El Paretón, the Adult Education Classrooms of Instituto Viejo, the CEIP "Tierno Galván" and the Social Center of Tyrol-Camilleri.

To these electoral appointments are incorporated the polling stations of the Local Capuchin Fathers old Center for the Elderly "Santa Bárbara" - and the Adult Education Classrooms of the Old Institute, which replace the Children's Schools "Clara Campoamor" and "Carmen Baró ", respectively.
