The Auditorium of Eagles hosted last Friday the III Meeting of the Local Police of the Region of Murcia, organized by the National Union of Chiefs and Local Police Officers (Unijepol) in this autonomous community, whose ceremony distinguished the corporals of the Local Police of Totana, Norberto Costa and Pedro Cánovas, and the agent Francisco Sánchez.
During the meeting, awards were given to the components of all the Local Police that have retired or are going to retire during the year 2019.
In the act they were present, accompanying the agents of the Local Police of Totana, the mayor, Andrés García, the first deputy mayor, Juan José Cánovas, and the councilor for Citizen Security, Local Police and Traffic, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, and the chief officer, Alfonso Canales.
Also, during the ceremony, other awards were granted to the Chief Officer of the Local Police of Totana, Alfonso Canales, for his 35 years of service;
and the medal for good police service to agent Juan Díaz, respectively.
In addition, a training session was held in which several papers on "Police action to address gender violence" were delivered by the magistrate of the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Cartagena, María del Mara Gómez Hernández, and about of "Police action in matters of animal protection", which was given by the officer-chief of the Antón de Protección Animal team of the Local Police of Fuenlabrada (Madrid) and the Animal Protection policy secretary of Unijepol.
