The Office of Tourist Information of Totana has received about two thousand consultations, both in person and telematics and telephone, from the beginning of last January to the end of last July, most of them related to the archaeological site of La Bastida, followed of other monuments and emblematic places, such as La Santa.
The visits to the archaeological site of La Bastida, which is managed by this municipal service, both for the general public and for the educational community, have increased in number of people, reaching 2,700 in the first half of the year.
In this way, the offer has been extended and the site can be visited through the so-called standard, theatrical visits and, as a novelty, the set visits;
where visitors become Argaric women and men for a few hours.
On the other hand, the number of prehistoric workshops for educational centers has also been reinforced, which has also been very popular during the past school year and which will be resumed, logically, during the coming year.
The archaeological site of La Bastida can be visited every Saturday, Sunday, holidays during these hours: in winter, from 10:00 and 12:00 hours (from September 1 to May 31);
and during the summer, from 9:00 and 19:00 hours (from June 1 to September 30), respectively.
