The Local Government Board has approved the proposal of the Councilor for Social Welfare, Javier Baños, for which the subsidy of the Autonomous Community is accepted to finance with 97,610 euros the maintenance of the Child Development and Early Care Center of Totana.
In addition, it is agreed to assume the commitment of co-financing by the City of Totana at least 24,241.96 euros in order to cover the total cost of the project for the year 2018.
The agreement is established for the development of the agreement through the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) - for the maintenance of the Early Care Center located on the Camino de Antigor, in the Tirol-Camilleri district.
The main objective of early care programs is that children who have disorders in their development or are at risk of suffering receive, following a model that considers the psychosocial aspects, everything that, from the preventive and care side can enhance their ability to development and welfare, enabling their integration into the family and social environment, as well as their personal autonomy.
The Early Care Center includes services such as prevention, detection and diagnosis programs, therapeutic intervention programs (sensory motor and cognitive stimulation, motor, speech and functional auditory, socio-affective and family, etc.), counseling for the family and the social environment, and coordination with other centers or services for the development of their functions.
