The activities organized to mark the "World Environment Day" will be held tomorrow, Friday June 4 (03/06/2010)

The program of activities organized to commemorate the "World Environment Day, under the slogan" Many Species, One Planet, One Future, "which includes more than a dozen advocacy activities in this matter, place throughout the day tomorrow, Friday June 4 at the City Park "Marcos Ortiz."

These activities aim to raise awareness among citizens, as stated by the mayor of the Environment, Trini Cayuela, "starting from the smallest to work and have a willingness to care for and respect the environment."

The activity program will start at 09:30 hours with environmental education activities, aimed at students of 2 nd year of primary school and with the participation of schools "Reina Sofia", "Tierno Galván", "San Jose" and "Miracle."

These activities will work various topics such as water, energy, biodiversity and waste and there will be small colorful murals to be exhibited throughout the park and there will be workshops on these topics.

The activities will continue at 11:00 with the reading of environmental manifesto on the occasion of the celebration of World Environment Day, commemorated on Saturday 5 June.

Later, at 18:30 will be six workshops in the park to reuse waste materials, such as "Make your spring flowers," "She makes a case alternative", "Deck thyself with your own bracelets on paper", "It shows your skill with a cubilín "and" Make your own instruments, trademarks, and other percussion Djambo. "

Simultaneously, carry out a green Gynkana in the park with reference to evidence to the Environment.

Likewise, from the 20:00 hours there will be a storyteller by the group of animation and children's theater "Kataclown" and 20:30 pm will proceed to the presentation of the "Guide Geological Espuña Regional Park" in Casino de Totana.

The municipal official of the Environment has encouraged all citizens to participate in these awareness activities that enhance the respect for the environment and appealed to civic responsibility, as "the world will be the legacy we leave our children."
